When House owners of the Ford Ranger outgrow their factory radio or discover the necessity to change a malfunctioning unit, they’ve two choices: They will belief the replacement of the Ranger’s stereo to an aftermarket audio specialist, or they will carry out the change themselves.
Ford Ranger Aftermarket Radio Installation Instructions
1. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery lead post. Using the Phillips-head screwdriver Unscrew the bolt on the cable’s clamp . Place the clamp away from the negative lead post till the alternative is full.
2. Insert the removing tools into the radio. There are units of holes on both side of the Ford Ranger radio face to obtain the instruments.
3. Pull the instruments outward after which pull the radio away from the dashboard.
4. Disconnect the white plastic wire binders from the rear of the radio. Pull the antenna cable from the unit.
5. Insert the Ford Ranger installation kit dock to obtain the aftermarket radio. Feed the Ranger’s wiring via the back of the equipment. Join the plastic wire binders to the wiring harness adapter. Join the wiring harness adapter to the brand new aftermarket stereo. Plug the Ford’s antenna wire into the brand new stereo.
6. Slide the new Ford Ranger stereo into the set up equipment dock. The tabs on both side of the newly put in bracket (the set up package) will snap into place when the brand new radio is totally seated.
7. Place the negative battery cable clamp across the negative lead put up. Tighten the clamp’s bolt with the screwdriver.
